Conditioned vs. cast
Cast grit is made by melting and thermal treatment. Conditioning starts from recycled steel wire and removes the thermal step entirely — a premium product with different economics and a different competitor set. The only comparable producer in Europe is KrampeHarex (Germany), with no SE European presence.
